I have two identical Redmine 2.5.3 installations on one server, but for two different groups of users with different content.

On both sites the custom wiki macros work fine. On one the icon macros like and work, but these do not work on the other (they just show up as the macro text).

Any idea how to debug what the issue is?

I installed the Wordmine plugin but after setting it up it logs me out and I can never log back in.

I have set up two admins in Redmine before installing Wordmine.
When trying to log in with one I get :
ERROR: The password you entered for the username Tide is incorrect.

The other user I get nothing it just clears the login boxes after pressing Log In.

Is there any information I can give you that will help diagnose the issue?
SCM Creator (+Github) - Patch #2278 (Deferred): Disable "Save repository" button on new repositorieshttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/22782014-01-23T07:54:07ZElektritter Messinger

Hi,

a lot of our users were confused when the “Save repository” button is enabled on creating a new repository getting error message or a non function repository entry.

So I made a small patch which disables the “Save repository” button

when it is a new repository entry

allow_add_local
is False

It made the form much cleaner to them and lowered the questions for help a lot
Hooks Manager - Support #2273 (In Progress): Hook is invalidhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/22732013-12-17T23:33:39ZAlex Stout

I tried to follow the tutorial for adding a new placeholder/hook given here. I decided to just follow the path of editing the Hooks Manager plugin files rather than creating my own plugin (yes, I understand the consequences and I have the files backed up).
I successfully added the hook to where I can see it in the hooks manager plugin configuration on the web client as administrator. But trying to add any content to the hook results in a “Hook is invalid” error (see attached). The hook I’m trying to add is one that goes beneath the right column hook for the project overview view. I can’t figure out what (if anything) I did wrong.

What results in the “Hook is invalid” error? If any additional info is needed, I will provide.

Thanks.
Extended Fields - Support #2161 (In Progress): Internal error On New Issues tabhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/21612013-03-06T17:23:48ZChristi Cummings

OpenID Fix - Patch #2024 (Under Verification): Associate existing accounts by emailhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/20242012-04-18T10:05:31ZRuben Silva

Hi there, I was struggling with OpenId account association until I realize that is just not implemented at all. So after this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8806865/redmine-openid-usage where @mppfiles bring openId fix to my knowledge I went a little deeper I edit the code so now it checks if the email returned by openID is an existing user email and if so associates the identity_url permanently.

Patch attached.
Project Alias - Patch #1985 (Deferred): Redmine.pm for Git supporting project-aliaseshttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/19852012-02-23T12:09:11ZDavid Rahusen

Hey there,

I’ve been fiddling around to get Redmine.pm handling project-aliases. I finally made it! But if the identifier has been changed, the old identifier needs to be present as an alias!!! Otherwise the SCM directory will be finally unreachable.

However, I’m really NOT familiar with perl/mod_perl. Therefore, usage is on own risk, I cannot guarantee for anything!

The attached diff is the diff of my Redmine.pm to the original extra/svn/Redmine.pm as originally delivered by Redmine, including the following patches/modifications:

Support for Git: “0001-Redmine.pm-update-patch-4905-to-Redmine-1.3.0-fixed.patch” ( Redmine #4905 )

Minor modification for LDAP-Authentication via the login credentials that shall be authentificated.

Support for project-alias: Redirects to the “real SCM-directory” if an alias is used or identifier has been changed.

The modifications for project aliases are like this:

The sql query retrieves permissions for the project, specified by project-identifier OR project-id corresponding to the alias wihtin table project_aliases.

Checks if directory named like the project-identifier specified by the URL exists.

If yes, proceed as usual.

If not, check if directory named like the real project-identifier retrieved from database exists.

If yes, redirect to corrected URL.

If not, check if directory named like any alias exists.

If yes, redirect to the corrected URL.

If not, go on. The SCM will announce an error.

Open issues:

Line 473-475: The location of the repositories should be retrieved from Apache config or environment variables. Any ideas?

The script should be double checked at all! In my environment it works fully satisfying for me, for others maybe not.

If you fill in contact form and send it, the recipient is always the default project emmission address (which is ok I guess since this is Redmines default), but the reply-to field is not used/filled.
I would expect the user’s email address here if he is logged in, and the reply to: field contents if he/she is not logged in.

I see that some reply-to field code is in app/models/email.rb, but maybe redmines mailer code doesn’t use it, needs a patch?
