Ran into an internal Redmine error after deleting a user from Redmine. The project_subscribers table still had a record for the deleted user.

The access to Gits is based on projects identifier. When the projects identifier and the git repository name is not the same, the member access will fail. Somehow the access rules are based on a string comparison not on the projects number.

Thus, I can create two different gits but never access both because always one GIT has a different name then the project name. If the GIT access rules are based on the project ID’s and the links to the repository and then their name this would be possible.

Furthermore, its super confusing that I can not just rename a GIT repo and fix the database entry in the table “repositorys”. In order to to so I also need to rename the projects identifier.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Bug #2420 (New): Creating a Github repository failshttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24202017-03-08T02:19:42ZMike Hagedon

When I enable Github in the SCM Creator settings, the plugin seems to crash on a sudo-requiring action. I have sudo mode turned off. Any ideas on how to fix this, or at least get more of a stack trace?

hi.

For the past two years, we ran redmine_scm and redmine_git_hosting alongside each other under ChiliProject. We are now migrated to Redmine 2.5.2. The desire to use both comes from the need to use gitolite to manage the git repositories (we have several hundred). Unfortunately, the current releases of Redmine, redmine_git_hosting and redmine_scm are not friends, and cause Internal Server Error (500) when one clicks on “New repository” ie: https://some.host.edu/projects/user5-windlevane/repositories/new

Following the previous configuration no longer applies: http://aeturnalus.com/software/hacking-scm-creator-redmine-git-hosting-cooperate/ as these two plugins have changed dramatically.

Current environment:

Environment:
Redmine version 2.5.2.stable
Ruby version 1.9.3-p194 (2012-04-20) [x86_64-linux]
Rails version 3.2.19
Environment production
Database adapter Mysql2
SCM:
Subversion 1.6.17
Mercurial 2.2.2
Cvs 1.12.13
Bazaar 2.6.0
Git 1.7.10.4

Redmine plugins:
redmine_backlogs v1.0.6
redmine_bootstrap_kit 0.1
redmine_checkout 0.6-BETA
redmine_git_hosting 0.7.7
redmine_scm 0.5.0b
redmine_timesheet_plugin 0.7.0

https://github.com/jbox-web/redmine_git_hosting.git
http://svn.s-andy.com/scm-creator

The installation appears to work, and the rake tasks complete successfully. However, repository creation fails when using BOTH plugins simultaneously. Turn one or the other off and the creation process works just fine. Logs of the relevant action and error:

If i have a username msk and if i click on http://redmine-ip/users/msk, it shows the users’ page.
However if i rename the username to krishna.ms and if i click on http://redmine-ip/users/krishna.ms the page goes blank.

But http://redmine-ip/users/124 where 124 is the userid of krishna.ms, it works.

Create a project without automatic repository creation

Add it a repository through ulterior configuration, with an “invalid” location (from the plugin’s point of view), eg. by not respecting the format (subdirs... ) (click on “save” instead of “create repo”)

Fix the location to make it respect the format

Location is OK, doesn’t exist; the “create repo” button doesn’t show up though

Maybe you should only rely on repository location respecting format, and really being accessible, to hide button (and not on the only fact that location is configured)?
TOC - Bug #1735 (Incomplete): Broken in new DokuWiki?http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/17352011-05-04T22:31:12ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Some user added the following text to the plugin Wiki page:

There is currently no way to disable the default location of the TOC without also disabling THIS one. In other words: You have 2 TOCs or none.

Perhaps this happens due to new version of DokuWiki... Did not test yet. Please confirm if you can.
