Redmine Contact Form - Feature #2442 (New): Put sender's email into Fromhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24422018-05-17T09:56:37ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Right now, the plugin puts sender’s email into the Reply-To header and the From header uses the Redmine’s emission email address. As a result, when I click Reply some email clients (such as Thunderbird) do not fill the To address of the replying email (so I need to do this manually each time).

So, I wonder, if the plugin should user the From header instead?
Projects - Improvement #2106 (Incomplete): Gravatar uploadhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/21062012-10-05T08:43:39ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Looks like it is possible to implement Gravatar image management inside Redmine: http://en.gravatar.com/site/implement/xmlrpc/
WikiNG - Feature #2076 (Open): HTML Color previewhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/20762012-06-28T12:30:35ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

If WikiNG meets HTML color code like #C07600 it can make an inline preview by rendering a little box before the color code...
Author Box - Feature #1996 (Incomplete): Project modulehttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/19962012-02-29T00:34:13ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Should the plugin allow enabling/disabling the module at project level?..
Extended Fields - Feature #1881 (Open): Support wiki toolbar for "Default value"http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/18812011-10-26T20:39:05ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Right now it seems to be very complicated and is not critical... So “postponing”.
Projects - Feature #1837 (Open): Andriy is now working on...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/18372011-08-31T17:03:21ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Just an idea:

I usually work on one of the projects... So on the website somewhere can be a status e.g. “Andriy is now working on <ins>Download</ins>” (where <ins>Download</ins> is a link). On the other hand if I don’t work on any of the projects (e.g. freelancing) - “Andriy is now working on his other projects...”

The status should be triggered manually (using e.g. Orangutan).
Projects - Feature #1804 (Incomplete): Arrows (or similar solution) for project menuhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/18042011-07-14T03:26:05ZTim Lin

This plugin is more than just a Google Ads plugin - it allows administrator to place just any HTML code in many places of Redmine site. For some situations it can be useful to limit pages to show “Google Ads” by specifying URL regexp like it is don in the Sidebar plugin...
Orangutan::Redmine - Feature #1337 (Incomplete): Automatic time trackinghttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/13372010-12-02T17:07:30ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Not sure if this is need but just an idea...

Currently a "task" has the following components:

Start time

End time

Description

Issue

And/or project

Activity

Let’s review them...

Activity, project and/or issue can be set default. Start time and end time can be fetched using Jabber statuses. The only description left - but Redmine does not require it.

So what if...

Assuming that user has set default activity and project or issue. Oragutan can start a task automatically when user comes online, can stop it automatically when user goes away or offline. In this case Orangutan won’t use description.

Whould such mode be helpful?

The only requirement is that user should pay a special attention to status changes! That is switch offline or away when leaves and don’t when working.

Of course, for this Orangutan should be switched to a special mode by a request like:

Track my time automatically

In addition, Orangutan can let user sepcify description... Actually it will work with no special changes - if user enters something and task exists Orangutan will ask if task should be renamed.
Orangutan::Redmine - Feature #1104 (Incomplete): Automatic overtime trackinghttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/11042010-11-08T13:43:14ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

I just thought that it can be useful to track overtime automatically... How do I see this (just an example):

In Softjourn we have a single activity - “Normal” (on the project we have more but anyway). There can be added another activity “Overtime”... Then saying when user starts working for more than 8 hous Orangutan saves current task with user’s activity (Normal) and creates new task (with all the same info) with activity “Overtime”. This can be done transparently to user (user won’t know this happened).

Of course, this should be configured, e.g.:

User: Track overtime with activity "Overtime"

Just an idea - not sure if we need this...
Orangutan - Feature #1028 (Incomplete): Recognizing English text accidentally entered with differ...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/10282010-10-21T22:15:51ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

catchall => 1
)

I guess you forgot to switch languages”

Викликати контекст з трансльованим текстом

Це поки що просто ідея...
Orangutan::Redmine - Feature #1022 (Incomplete): Changing issue status depending on user presencehttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/10222010-10-20T17:49:02ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

I figured out that Redmine messenger is able to change status to “In progress” when user comes online (and task is active). Then when user lefts/goes away the messenger changes status to some different value (we can use “Paused” or whatever).

Not sure how is it wanted but idea looks interesting... This way viewers will be able to check if anyone works on the issue right now...
Orangutan::Redmine - Improvement #971 (Incomplete): Confirm before taking text as a task/entry de...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/9712010-10-12T11:06:54ZAndrii Lundiak

Intro: If you have great memory, and you remember all rule properly to be used, perhaps this issue not for You - You are ideal

Anyway:

1) Create a task for a Redmine Issue
2) Create comment for a task
3) Vote [for | against] #issue_number (especially need to parse if word “on is entered with “vote” word”, other wise it will be new task, and AGAIN without confirmation)

There are places where we should add confirmation to continue processes
And I believe that will find other places where we need confirmation.

WOULD BE GREAT at least to have this functionality as User Customized (switch on|off)

I know that confirmation on every steps will be annoying, but anyway - SYSTEM should be perfect
And I think it is better to re-ask user, then insert new records to database, wait when user understand that he was failed with creation, and then delete fail record from database.

Please vote for the FR, cause a.lesyuk needs it a lot.
Orangutan::Redmine - Enhancement #215 (Incomplete): Support issue subject as an answer to the iss...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/2152010-04-08T22:06:38ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

When Orangutan asks to enter issue some people think that they should enter issue subject. Therefore issue subject as an answer perhaps should be supported. This feature should be added to Issue and MainIssue contexts.
