Hello,

It appears the
view_layouts_base_html_head
hook isn’t working, because it’s already used by the Hook Manager plugin itself to register its stylesheet.
See the attached patch for a simple fix (tested against Hook Manager 1.0.0 running on Redmine 2.5.1).

Thanks for making this plugin.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Patch #2290 (Under Verification): Various improvements to pluginhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/22902014-05-06T12:12:14ZElektritter Messinger

Hi, I did some improvements to this plugin which make handling for enduser a lot better I think and are in use in our installations.

In result this are 10 patches, I just append them here. Numbering is in order of apply (patch -p 1 < filename.patch)

Inside each patch is the commit description what this patch does:

hide the new repository button when it is disabled

the button “create repository” is displayed only once and below the form as all other buttons, too.

removed the login inputs for subversion repository 'cause them only are created local

set extension ".git” for new git repositories if extension is enabled

display orginal svn form if subversion creator isn’t enabled. Belongs to patch 3

a better default repository name for git creator

some improvements to the creation and add button

remove create button from inside form, belongs to some patches before

Special repository name input if allow_add_local == false. This means, it has now a more intelligent mask so no wrong repository names could entered

display the clone/checkout url in top of a repository view so user without access to settings page can copy it easly

Hope, this patches helps you and your nice plugin.
Extended Fields - Feature #2227 (In Progress): Altering form elements for custom fieldshttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/22272013-09-16T13:41:59ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Custom field templates let you change the rendering style of <ins>values</ins> for custom fields and only! And it would be cool to be also able to change the style of form elements for <ins>input</ins> of custom field values!

Let me show an example:

Saying we have a “Rating” custom field, which should get values from 1 to 5. For such custom field we will probably choose the “Text” type and regular expression
^[1-5]$
...

Right now we can use five stars to render values of such custom fields! For this we just define the
string/rating
template.

But we would also want to use these five stars to let users choose the rating! This would be much better than a text field, which requires digits from 1 to 5!..

Replacing form elements for custom fields can be problematic though... But still it should be possible to “attach” JavaScript to such elements! And using JavaScript we can do what we need!
Project Settings - Feature #2131 (In Progress): Redmine 2 / Rails 3 compatibilityhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/21312012-12-09T17:26:01ZMarcus Ilgner

Just tried to install the redmine-settings plugin into a Redmine 2 installation because I’m using it in one of my plugins.
Unfortunately, it isn’t compatible anymore since a few things changed with Rails 3.

I fiddled around with it for a bit and got so far to come up with this diff to at least avoid throwing exceptions. But still I had to add a manually-defined route for my settings page in my plugin and the view doesn’t show up anymore after the upgrade.

Do you have any plans to support Redmine 2 or should I roll my own settings hook?
Extended Fields - Bug #2098 (In Progress): Failure in XLS Export (undefined method `find_custom_f...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/20982012-09-07T13:54:16ZTib Onu

I’m getting the error below when trying to export the list of issues using the XLS Export plugin. This only happens with projects having custom fields. I tried with Extended Fields 0.1.0 as well as with the latest SVN snapshot (0.1.1 from Sep 7, 2012) - both with the same result.

When it is not enough hours WorkHours context currently suggests tasks assuming that lunch time is 13:00 - 14:00 for everyone. But this time may differ for employees...

The WorkHours context should be able to “detect” the lunch time of an employee by extracting it from previous database records. Currently similar is done to detect work hours...

I do not use WorkHours context mostly because lunch time is not detected correctly...
