Hi,

To optimize load of
/mentions/autocomplete
I set the
debounce
option of jQuery textcomplete to 500 ms. This should have made the autocomplete function be called with the delay.

In practice, however, with this option set the autocomplete function sometimes is not getting called at all, ever. Usually, this happens, when I put just
@
or
user:
, i.e., a user link without any term (without a part of login, name or identifier). If, however, I add any character and then remove it (i.e., get the same
@
or
user:
in result), the autocompletion gets executed.

If I remove the
debounce
option, everything works as expected. This makes me think, that the problem is in how jQuery textcomplete handles the debounce.
ISSUE-id - Bug #ISSUE-12 (Deferred): No route matches error for journals#newhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/ISSUE-122016-10-29T20:06:32ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Before Rails 4 it was possible to override name routes in
config/routes.rb
. But, in Rails 4 this is no longer possible, see source:config/routes.rb@21#L12.

For Rails 4.1 it was possible to override the path helper method by including a custom module as follows:

Rails.application.routes.url_helpers.send(:include, IssueRouterHelper)

But, in Rails 4.2 this does not work as well. Redmine gives the error:

No route matches {:action⇒“new”, :controller⇒“journals”, :id⇒#<Issue id: 273, ..., project_key: “ADMIN”, issue_number: 8>} missing required keys: [:id]

I tried different methods including something like (found such on StackOverflow):

Rails.application.routes.named_routes.url_helpers_module.send(:include, IssueRouterHelper)

But, no luck.

Currently, this is fixed by overriding
app/views/issues/show.html.erb
(see r23), but this is not a good workaround. A better one should be found! I assume, Rails 4.3+ should have a fix for this.
Contact Form - Support #2391 (In Progress): Redmine 3.1 support?http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/23912015-08-28T20:11:40ZEric Hall

Hello,

Will you be releasing a version of 'Hooks Manager’ that’s comparable with Redmine 3.0?

I’m seeing this error:

Hello,

It appears the
view_layouts_base_html_head
hook isn’t working, because it’s already used by the Hook Manager plugin itself to register its stylesheet.
See the attached patch for a simple fix (tested against Hook Manager 1.0.0 running on Redmine 2.5.1).

Thanks for making this plugin.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Patch #2290 (Under Verification): Various improvements to pluginhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/22902014-05-06T12:12:14ZElektritter Messinger

Hi, I did some improvements to this plugin which make handling for enduser a lot better I think and are in use in our installations.

In result this are 10 patches, I just append them here. Numbering is in order of apply (patch -p 1 < filename.patch)

Inside each patch is the commit description what this patch does:

hide the new repository button when it is disabled

the button “create repository” is displayed only once and below the form as all other buttons, too.

removed the login inputs for subversion repository 'cause them only are created local

set extension ".git” for new git repositories if extension is enabled

display orginal svn form if subversion creator isn’t enabled. Belongs to patch 3

a better default repository name for git creator

some improvements to the creation and add button

remove create button from inside form, belongs to some patches before

Special repository name input if allow_add_local == false. This means, it has now a more intelligent mask so no wrong repository names could entered

display the clone/checkout url in top of a repository view so user without access to settings page can copy it easly

Hope, this patches helps you and your nice plugin.
Projects - Bug #1989 (In Progress): Кирилиця в рекламіhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/19892012-02-26T11:33:21ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com
