To optimize load of
/mentions/autocomplete
I set the
debounce
option of jQuery textcomplete to 500 ms. This should have made the autocomplete function be called with the delay.

In practice, however, with this option set the autocomplete function sometimes is not getting called at all, ever. Usually, this happens, when I put just
@
or
user:
, i.e., a user link without any term (without a part of login, name or identifier). If, however, I add any character and then remove it (i.e., get the same
@
or
user:
in result), the autocompletion gets executed.

If I remove the
debounce
option, everything works as expected. This makes me think, that the problem is in how jQuery textcomplete handles the debounce.
ISSUE-id - Bug #ISSUE-14 (Open): Escaping #ISSUE-id Textile rule does not workhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/ISSUE-142017-12-02T21:46:29ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Escaping ISSUE-id’s special Textile syntax rule does not work, if multiple IDs are specified in one line. For example:

!#ISSUE-1, !#ISSUE-2 and !#ISSUE-3

Demo: #ISSUE-2 and #ISSUE-3

This happens because Redmine treats
!#ISSUE-1, !
as an image. Therefore,
parse_redmine_links_with_issue_id
gets the following
text
:

Demo: #ISSUE-2 and !#ISSUE-3

The same applies to legacy IDs:

Demo: #2 and #3

So, it’s not a problem in the plugin, but in the Redmine core.
Subscription - Bug #2422 (New): User is not removed from project_subscribers table when user is d...http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24222017-04-04T14:17:44ZCheyenne Wills

Ran into an internal Redmine error after deleting a user from Redmine. The project_subscribers table still had a record for the deleted user.

I’m using the latest checkout level from the repository.

Manually deleting the offending entry from the project_subscribers table corrected the error.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Bug #2421 (New): The access to Git is based on projects identifier.http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24212017-03-31T09:08:22ZSven Mayer

The access to Gits is based on projects identifier. When the projects identifier and the git repository name is not the same, the member access will fail. Somehow the access rules are based on a string comparison not on the projects number.

Thus, I can create two different gits but never access both because always one GIT has a different name then the project name. If the GIT access rules are based on the project ID’s and the links to the repository and then their name this would be possible.

Furthermore, its super confusing that I can not just rename a GIT repo and fix the database entry in the table “repositorys”. In order to to so I also need to rename the projects identifier.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Bug #2420 (New): Creating a Github repository failshttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24202017-03-08T02:19:42ZMike Hagedon

When I enable Github in the SCM Creator settings, the plugin seems to crash on a sudo-requiring action. I have sudo mode turned off. Any ideas on how to fix this, or at least get more of a stack trace?

SCM Creator r147, Redmine 3.1.3, Ruby 2.2.1
ISSUE-id - Bug #ISSUE-12 (Deferred): No route matches error for journals#newhttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/ISSUE-122016-10-29T20:06:32ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Before Rails 4 it was possible to override name routes in
config/routes.rb
. But, in Rails 4 this is no longer possible, see source:config/routes.rb@21#L12.

For Rails 4.1 it was possible to override the path helper method by including a custom module as follows:

Rails.application.routes.url_helpers.send(:include, IssueRouterHelper)

But, in Rails 4.2 this does not work as well. Redmine gives the error:

No route matches {:action⇒“new”, :controller⇒“journals”, :id⇒#<Issue id: 273, ..., project_key: “ADMIN”, issue_number: 8>} missing required keys: [:id]

I tried different methods including something like (found such on StackOverflow):

Rails.application.routes.named_routes.url_helpers_module.send(:include, IssueRouterHelper)

But, no luck.

Currently, this is fixed by overriding
app/views/issues/show.html.erb
(see r23), but this is not a good workaround. A better one should be found! I assume, Rails 4.3+ should have a fix for this.
RedPress - Bug #2404 (Incomplete): Redmine now requires POST for logouthttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/24042016-08-26T17:16:40ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com

Now, when a user clicks on “Sign out” link in WordPress, he/she gets a Redmine page with a “Sigh out” button. Direct
GET
request to
/logout
no longer works, see #13022 and #13069.
I did not receive any erros while installing your plugin and the redmine log file does not show any errors either.
Yet the project list displays all projects in the same way even though ServerManager belongs to section develop and Dummy and Dummy2 belong to section Kunden.

I do not know what is going wrong. I am a Unix system administrator with no knowledge whatsoever of ruby, so please phrase your explanation like I was 3 years old.
SCM Creator (+Github) - Bug #2325 (Incomplete): Cannot add existing github repohttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/23252014-08-13T12:56:42ZMikalai Turyshau
