What's the purpose of 'project of interest'?

Description

First, it’s a nice plugin,thanks! I don’t understand for what this user field is there, seems like it can’t support multi selection to projects.

When Redmine hosts many projects “Project of Interest” field indicates what project a user is interested in (that is the reason for registering).

Starting from 1.0.0 you can remove the “Project of Interest” field if you don’t need it (actually you can remove all fields)...
