Description

Be able to be notfied fine grained for every kind of event is really a needful feature, but there shall also be a feature to manage fine grained mails distribution
E.g

  • immidiately (redmine default behaviour)
  • every <first,second, ...> day at <time>
  • after <number> events

Also checkout the feature request beeing a merge of fine grained notification features and fine grained schedule of mails sending.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Subscription is a little bit different than watching (default Redmine notifications)... I see it as notifying about new objects! While watching allows to be notified about changes (you need to click "Watch"). There is also project notifications...

Mail distribution is completely another story! Subscription, watching and notifications deliver mail... Then something should make a queue from this mail. In other words it seems to be a separate plugin - not a part of subscription...

I’m not sure I will implement this (as I don’t need it personally)... Anyway putting this issue into my Projects project. It contains some other plugin ideas...
