<p>Hello,</p>
<p>I’m using the current version of redmine and recently noticed that WikiNG has killed the built in redmine help popup.</p>
<p>This stackoverflow post describes the problem: <a class="external" href="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17235955/redmine-wiki-help-button-is-not-working">http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17235955/redmine-wiki-help-button-is-not-working</a> but the prescribed solution does not work.</p>
<p>I did try removing WikiNG and the popup works again so it definitely seems to be something about WikiNG that’s causing the conflict. Any idea how I might fix this?</p>
<p>Looks like this is in as a bug. See here: Bug <a class="issue tracker-1 status-5 priority-5 priority-default closed" title="Help button no long works (Closed)" href="http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/issues/2267">#2267</a></p>

<p>Hello,</p>
<p>the correct solution is to use the <code>textilizable(*args)</code> method from the ApplicationHelper module.</p>

<p>Hello,</p>
<p>I write a Plugin and I’m not very adept in Ruby.<br />I want to use the function parse_redmine_links from the ApplicationHelper.<br />If I call parse_redmine_links(params ...) I get the expected result but if <br />I install the WikiNG Plugin which extends the function <br />ApplicationHelper.parse_redmine_links the result of the call of parse_redmine_links <br />in my Plugin is nil.<br />Is there a another/better way to call parse_redmine_links?</p>

<p>Glad you found the solution!</p>
<p>I also experienced this issue... It’s somehow related to permissions. Instead of the “hack” you used you better fix permissions (I don’t remember what I did)!</p> Support: RE: Can't see WinkiNG plugin working [FIXED]http://projects.andriylesyuk.com/boards/16/topics/27?r=34#message-342012-02-15T00:49:27ZRodolfo Pilas

<p>Done. I have delete all plugins and restart Redmine. I seen the Admin→Plugins empty.</p>
<p>Then I download svn of WikiNG and restart Redmine. I seen WikiNG only into installed plugins.</p>
<p>Same results.. <span class="wiking smiley smiley-sad" title=":("></span></p>
<p>BUT!</p>
<p>This is the html of the code that I have received:</p>
<pre>
<p><span class="wiking marker marker-todo " title="TODO"></span></p>
<p><span class="wiking marker marker-update " title="UPDATE"></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span class="wiking smiley smiley-smiley"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-smiley2"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-laughing"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-laughing2"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-crying"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-sad"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-wink"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-cheeky"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-shock"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-annoyed"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-confuse"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-straight"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-embarrassed"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-kiss"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-angel"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-evil"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-rock"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-exclamation"></span>, <span class="wiking smiley smiley-question"></span> <em>and</em> <span class="wiking smiley smiley-rose"></span></li>
</ul>
</pre>
<p>I understand that WikiNG plugin is working, because it understands <pre>{UPDATE}</pre> but it is like the span class is not interpreted.</p>
<p>Is this a CSS problem?</p> Support: RE: Can't see WinkiNG plugin workinghttp://projects.andriylesyuk.com/boards/16/topics/27?r=31#message-312012-02-14T23:39:21ZAndriy Lesyuks-andy@andriylesyuk.com
<p>Are you maybe using Markdown?.. Did you customize Wiki syntax in any way (besides Wiki Notes)?..</p>
<p>Try also removing Wiki Notes or WikiNG and see if another plugin works...</p>
