Redmine 2.3 + SCM Creator: 404 Error

Im running Redmine on an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server.
After installing the SCM Creator plugin as described in the wiki article, when I
click on “New Project” in the Projects view I get following error message:

404
The page you were trying to access doesn’t exist or has been removed.

Plugin stallation path : /usr/share/redmine/lib/plugins/redmine_scm
Plugin configuration path : /usr/share/redmine/config/scm.yml

Hi, Adrian!

Currently you need to use the plugin from SVN with Redmine 2.3.x. Do you?.. It’s going to be release very soon but not right now.

Well Adrian tried that as well, but same error.

OK, I found out, that redmine is missing the partial template for scm: 

ActionView::Template::Error (Missing partial projects/scm with {:handlers=>[:rsb, :erb, :builder], :locale=>[:en], :formats=>[:html]}. Searched in:
  * "/usr/share/redmine/app/views" 
):

For any reason, redmine doesn’t look into the plugin directory. Any Hints?

Adrian, please confirm you are getting the same error in logs (looks like you do).

David, are you using Ubuntu as well? Same version maybe?

It looks to be not related to the plugin, but to the environment...

Seems you are using wrong path for the plugin...

Put it into
/usr/share/redmine/plugins/redmine_scm
instead of
/usr/share/redmine/lib/plugins/redmine_scm!
